Governor Pete Ricketts’ former state field director Bennett Bressman is a Neo-Nazi, according to a report by Antifa Nebraska. 

The anti fascist network found this information by combing through infiltrated alt-right Discord chats released by the media collective Unicorn Riot.

Bressman, 22, posted comments on Discord under the handle “bress222” and made multiple references to his employment as Gov. Ricketts field director as well as posting selfies and a picture of himself at a rally.

Some of his comments include claiming he would drive his car through a Black Lives Matter protest and posting a meme indicating he is sexually aroused by the Holocaust. Bressman also posted memes supporting Hitler and the Las Vegas shooter.

In their report, Antifa Nebraska calls for Ricketts “to fire everyone on his staff, repatriate this land to the indigenous people it was stolen from, then resign in disgrace.”

The governor released a statement Monday claiming he had no knowledge of his staffer’s views.

“I am shocked and horrified to learn that this former staffer made these statements… I condemn these statements and this hateful worldview, which do not reflect my beliefs or the beliefs of Nebraskans,” Ricketts said in the statement.
